Motorcycle Tours

The minimum hire age is 25 years.

Yes, for just $5 per day we hire a range of quality helmets jackets, pants, boots and gloves.

For just $10 Helmet Communication sets.

We also have lowered seat options.

However, we do not charge anything for side luggage, top boxes, roll bags etc.  See our products list.

A full and valid motorbike licence for your country of residence is required. If your licence is not in full English, you will need to provide an international drivers permit or an accurate translation.

We don’t cancel our tours, however if ‘in the highly unlikely event’ that we only have one booking on the tour, then you will be offered a GPS tour and refunded accordingly.

Yes, your pillion driver can ride in the support vehicle.

Before And After your Tour

Yes of course, we can securely store any item at our base until you return, and, for a small fee, we can even courier your luggage to your forward location if hiring one way.

This is part of your Tour Package. We provide a complimentary transfer service between Christchurch Airport/Auckland Airport or your accommodation (Christchurch Only) and our Christchurch/Auckland depot.

Yes, we will provide you with a list of accommodation places that we will collect you from.

Yes, we are very big on safety. Not only will our NZ Motorbikes Tour Guide provide a briefing on NZ Road rules, but also take you to our chosen location to show you group riding etiquette.

Please allow 1 hour for a pick up and 30 mins for a drop off.

We will pick you up and drop you off between 8am and 3pm. Nevertheless, an after-hours collection or return can be prearranged with us. However, this includes an NZD$80 fee.

Frequently Asked Questions: Payment

Master card and Visa. However, all credit cards receive a 3% transaction charge upon processing.

Yes.  The bond equals your insurance excess.   We will not deduct the money from your card but place a hold for the excess amount.  We will only debit the excess should you be involved in an accident or if the motorbike is not in the agreed condition.  For more information please refer to our Terms and Conditions, clause 19.
